INFACT Canada presents two upcomming LMCs in Toronto

The first course will be on September 23rd, 24th, and 25th, 2009 in downtown Toronto. The second course will be on November 18th, 19th, and 20th, 2009 also in downtown Toronto.

The course facilitator will be Linda Smith BSE, FACCE, IBCLC.

The goal of the INFACT Canada/IBFAN North America breastfeeding course is to provide participants with the information and resources required to support breastfeeding. The course is meant for any person wishing to better understand the practices and issues surrounding breastfeeding. After completing the course, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of optimal infant feeding practices, current research and best practices in breastfeeding, the need to protect breastfeeding through the implementation of the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes, the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative, and other key initiatives such as the WHO recommendations for exclusive breastfeeding for six months.
